I. His all-sufficient grace in his work of redemption – learning to receive (trust) in God’s deliverance: He has become my salvation (Exodus 15:1-11).
     a. The journey from Eden to Egypt – rescuing and restoring the physical and spiritual aspects of our true humanity (God’s prerogative – dominion, purpose – fruitful multiplication, and provision – food).
     b. Faithful biblical stewardship begins by acknowledging God as creator, provider, and redeemer (the Lamb – Rev 4:11, 5:9-12).

II. His all-sufficient grace in his work of sanctification (instruction) – learning to receive (trust) in God’s ongoing provision: give us this day our daily bread (Exodus 16, John 17:17).
     a. Six days: learning to joyfully depend on God for our daily bread and overcome enslavement to scarcity, complaining, hoarding, laziness.
     b. Sabbath: learning to joyfully trust God’s finished work as the final destination of God’s journey of provision.

God allows his people the privilege of giving
Not to make himself richer, since he is the owner of it all,
But to experience the joy of sharing what we value
with those whom we love.
