From Surviving to Thriving | Col 2:6-7
Christ promised his followers an abundant life (John 10:10). God’s abundant life however, does not necessarily reflect the priorities of this fallen world. This world sees abundance as the accumulation of wealth; God sees abundance as life-giving fruit to be shared. According to Colossians 2:6-7, God’s abundance is truly lived when regardless of our circumstances we are transformed into Christ-like people who overflow with gratitude for Gods’ ever sufficient grace. Abundant gratitude for God’s glorious generosity is the fruit that shares God’s love with those who need it most.
