What is DFBC Equip?
DFBC Equip is our leadership development initiative, where the goal is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
“…one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Ephesians 4:6)
Some of the tracks below require a small financial responsibility, but we do not want them to become an obstacle to anyone. Please fill out the Scholarship Request Form to check if you are eligible.
All Participants
DINNER
Suggested Donation: $3 per person, $10 per family (Donation jar will be available). Tracks for Children are available from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Children’s & Youth Ministry Supervision will be provided beginning at 5:50pm. Childcare is provided from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
Please register for the Children’s Ministry track to help us plan accordingly for food.

Preschool and Children Ministries

Nursery (Babies) & Preschool Ministry (3-5 yrs)
Teaching simple biblical foundations of faith through Bible stories, crafts, and play.
AWANA Children’s Discipleship Ministry (Kinder-6th Grade)
The key focus of the AWANA ministry is Scripture memorization, understanding, and application. The memory work, Bible studies, and other fun activities and games continue to carefully give each AWANA clubber a Biblical worldview by building up their Bible knowledge and instilling in them a love and respect for God and His Word. $45/Year. Scholarships available upon request.

FUEL (Weekly Youth Gathering)
Relationship Status: Christ-Centered Relationships in a Self-Centered World
"Relationship Status": This series is designed to help students build a biblical view of dating, relationships, purity, and marriage. This study challenges cultural lies about love and replaces them with God’s design for Christ-centered relationships.
Students will learn to value character over chemistry, pursue honesty over games, and see relationships not as the ultimate goal, but as an opportunity to glorify Christ.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY
FPU will lay a foundation for handling money, providing insight, tools, systems, and accountability to equip you as you seek to steward the resources with which God entrusts you. Participants will be equipped with tools to become good stewards, be debt-free, increase wealth, live in peace, and change their family trajectory. BAPTIST DISTINCTIVES
This class will cover some of the Baptist Distinctives that have long been hallmarks of beliefs and heritage. The course will review the history, theology, and practices of the Baptist denomination. Topics include: History of Baptists, Scripture, God (3 persons), Man, Salvation, Church, Spiritual Gifts, Ordinances, Missions/Evangelism, Education, Giving/Stewardship, Eschatology.

Intercessory Prayer
Participants will practice intercessory prayer; develop prayer concerns from scripture passage prompts, be encouraged to engage in prayer, testify to the Lord’s movement through prayer, and sense prayer opportunities in DFBC’s community and the lives of attendees. We strive to provide inspiration, instruction, and modeling of prayer for a variety of topics and concerns.

Life Restoration Cafe
For participants of Re|Engage, Re:Gen, Foundations of care, and Deep-Dive Discipleship, we will have the Life Restoration Cafe for a time of decompression and connection, prior to the various ministries beginning at 6:30 pm in the same room.

The most critical element in successful caregiving is the quality of the relationship between the person seeking help and the one providing it. The mission of Foundations of Care is to train the Body of Christ to provide short-term care, encouragement, and biblical guidance to those in crisis or significant need, helping them draw closer to God in genuine relationship. Curriculum cost: $40.

Christ-Centered Recovery/Healing
Re:Gen is a place where we can take our hurts, habits, and hang-ups to the feet of Jesus and experience healing & freedom as we learn how to live our new life in Christ with the help of a biblical community. You will be discipled and supported as you learn how to yield any area of your life to Christ. Curriculum costs $50/per semester. Approx. 10 months.

Re|Engage is a marriage discipleship ministry that helps foster stronger marriages, whether couples are struggling to get along, have broken relationships, or simply want to grow closer together. Marriages in any condition can benefit. Re|Engage disciples and equips couples with tools in whatever season of life they find themselves. Curriculum Cost: $50/couple. (Commitment of 16-18 weeks).
