The Church faithfully advances God’s mission when…

I. Every generation is intentionally discipled (2:1–10).
     a. The Experienced, the young, all of us (1-9) (1 Timothy 2:3-6)
     b. Adorning the doctrine of God our Savior (10)

II. Every disciple is transformed by grace (2:11–15).
     a. Justification: The grace that saves (11)
     b. Sanctification: The grace that transforms (12)
     c. Glorification: The anticipation of what is to come (13-15)

III. Every disciple leads by example (3:1–15).
     a. Show good testimony (1, 2)
     b. Remember your own walk (3-8)
     c. Protect the church’s unity for the sake of its witness: The “Matthew 18 Method” (9-15)

The church faithfully advances God’s mission
when every believer is growing in Christ,
while helping someone else do the same.

As each generation passes the faith to the next,
the church remains healthy, fruitful, and prepared for
the growth that God alone provides.

1. Am I intentionally growing in Christ, allowing His Word to shape me and His grace to transform me?
2. Who is God calling me to intentionally encourage, mentor, or disciple as I follow Christ?
