In Genesis 1 and 2 God creates a good world with the power of his word. Day by day he shapes the world carving space and time for his creatures. Humanity is his final work, created at the end of the sixth day. Humanity is the last of God’s works. In his kindness, God provided Sabbath for his creatures, king and queen, as a provision to enter into the glory of his magnificent grace. The church remains faithful to its God-given calling by standing firmly on God's truth, appointing qualified leaders, and protecting sound doctrine. Once that foundation is laid, how can we remain healthy and continue advancing God's mission for generations to come?

Acts narrates the birth of the Church, sent to the ends of the earth as a movement of disciple-makers who will lead the world in the Word. How can the church remain faithful to its mission in a world that constantly pressures it to compromise?
