What does it mean to receive Christ as Lord?
To receive Christ Jesus as Lord means…
I. Acceptance vs. Rejection (John 1:11-12, John 14:1-3).
a. Our sin has rejected him, alienating us from him and each other.
b. Faith welcomes him back so that he can take us back (John 1:11-12, John 14:1-3).
II. Deliverance vs. Oppression (Col. 1:13, Eph. 2:1-3).
III. Forgiveness vs. Condemnation (Col. 1:14, Luke 7:35-50, Rom. 5:6-8).
Because Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Without the Way there is no going: Christ offers you direction.
Without the Truth there is no knowing: Christ offers you
freedom from the lies of the enemy.
Without the Life there is no living: Christ offers you eternal life.
Are you ready to receive HIM?
Turn away from sin and put your trust in him.
1. If you have not started your journey, take your first step.
2. If you have lost your way, retrace your steps.
3. If you are on the way, get ready. It is time to pick up your step!
