God loves us not because of who we are
But because of who he is
Not because of what we do
But because of what he’s done
Choose God’s love to choose God’s life.
1. What areas of your life is God asking you to yield to him to experience his blessing but you refuse?
2. How does God want to replace your insecurities and “weaknesses” with his redemptive love assuring you that his grace is sufficient even if we are not (cf. 2 Cor. 12:7-10)?
3. Perhaps sin’s consequences have left scars in you that make you think of yourself as damaged goods without a chance to be part of God’s redemptive future. Look at 1 Cor 6:9-11 to see what God has done to redeem what sin has marred.
