Each One Reach One | 1 Corinthians 15:1-11

To be life-giving we must first be life-receiving. In God’s story all life originates in God. God created the world by his Word and it is his Word that sustains our lives and gives us a chance to choose life. Psalm 1 outlines the first steps of our journey. In God’s economy, choosing life begins with trusting and treasuring God’s word.

How do we make Christ’s gospel our priority?

God’s mission becomes our priority when…

I. We value the grace given to us: We cannot give what we have not received 1 Cor. 15:1-2.
   a. Reminded of the gospel.
   b. The gospel we received: life-long and life-changing

II. We become life-givers as each one reaches one 1 Cor 15:3-6.
   a. God’s mission, our conviction: the life-card.
   b. The word became flesh to reach us: churches planting churches and people reaching people: our footprint near and far.

III. We make his mission our life’s passion 1 Cor. 15:7-11.

If God’s mission is to become reality
The gospel of Jesus must become our priority
God always gives his provision
To those who make the gospel their passion

1. Do you remember where you were when God graciously reached out to you with the gospel? Jesus says that those whom much is forgiven love much (Luke 7:47), do you love enough to share?
2. We cannot be life-givers if we are not first life-receivers. Is the life of the vine flowing through your veins enabling you to share his life with others?
3. Who is the one God is calling you now to pray for and reach for him? If you start praying, God will open the door for you to share his life. God always gives his provision to those who make the gospel their passion.

La creación debe ser disfrutada y utilizada como una ventana a la bondad del corazón de Dios. Un instrumento de asombro y provisión…

Sabbath’s Provision in Creation | Genesis 1, 2

In Genesis 1 and 2 God creates a good world with the power of his word. Day by day he shapes the world carving space and time for his creatures. Humanity is his final work, created at the end of the sixth day. Humanity is the last of God’s works. In his kindness, God provided Sabbath for his creatures, king and queen, as a provision to enter into the glory of his magnificent grace. Creation is to be enjoyed and used as a window into the goodness of God’s heart. An instrument of wonder and provision pointing back to that…
