In God’s kingdom, good leaders are good followers. As servant-leaders we are not able to lead others where we are not ourselves willing to go first. God’s leaders are people who do not only talk the talks but also walk the walk. In this intriguing passage, we will see how God confronts Moses on his personal life and reminds him that in ministry, integrity is not optional.

Don’t let your insecurity distract you from his sufficiency.

1. What excuses have you been giving to God to keep you from doing what he has commanded you to do? Is there an area of your character where God wants you to grow and you continue to procrastinate or disobey?
2. In what areas of your life are you not walking according to God’s talk? Is there any area where duplicity or hypocrisy may result in God’s discipline in your life?
