Debby Baker has been a church member at DFBC since 2005. Even before then, going back to the late ’60s, she was saved and baptized as a little girl here at DFBC and spent her childhood and even into her teen years as a member of DFBC. She recently retired from her corporate life in a career that spanned some 40+ years. After a few months, she decided to come out of retirement and was very pleased when she was invited to come on staff in a part-time position as Ministry Assistant for Pastor Miguel. She also serves at DFBC as a teacher for the Sisterhood Journey Group, in the Care Center following morning worship services, on the Women’s Ministry Team, and occasionally as one of the backup teachers for the College Journey Group.

Debby was married for 36 years to the love of her life, the late Roy Baker, who was also a member of the family here at DFBC. Family is extremely important to Debby, both her family here at DFBC and the family into which she was born. Supporting many of her nieces and nephews in various sporting and school events brings her great pleasure. She enjoys reading, crafting of almost any sort, and those special times she can spend at the beach.
