At Duncanville First Baptist Church, our Children’s Ministry is all about helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus—through worship, learning, play, and community. We serve infants through 5th grade, creating safe, fun, age-appropriate environments where kids can explore faith in ways that make sense to them.
The Nursery is open for infants and toddlers up to age 2. We want to minister to them at this precious time in their lives. We will provide your child with physical care and spiritual training in a fun, clean, and safe environment.

Worship KidStyle is designed to guide kids in grades 1-5 to worship God—like kids! Kids will worship through high-energy, child-centered, God-focused worship. Each worship experience is packed full of exciting theme/topical-based Bible stories, dynamic learning activities, music videos, and life application videos.
Worship Preschool Style is designed to help preschoolers, ages 2-5, learn how to worship God thru stories, crafts, games, videos and general play.
We have age appropriate biblical literature that is taught to our preschoolers thru 6th grade. The children learn scripture and how to apply it to their lives thru activities, videos, color sheets and crafts
Awana is a discipleship program that offers large group and small group sessions, Bible lessons, Scripture memory, games, and awards for different age groups, from toddlers to teens.
The purpose of the mother’s day out program is to extend the ministry of Duncanville’s First Baptist Church by providing care, education, and development for each child enrolled in his or her greatest potential. Our goal is to have a program that allows each child to grow and develop as Jesus did “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” We do this thru romp, music, bible stories, and crafts.
Our mission is to provide your child(ren) with loving quality Christian care. We want this to be a safe and happy place for your child. We strive to teach your child basic development skills. More importantly, we strive to teach your child about the love of Jesus Christ.
We are committed to keeping your child safe while attending MDO. Our teachers all have background checks yearly. We will verify the identification of the people who pick up your child. It is important you help us with this by keeping all your information up to date with us.
