The Pursuit of Happiness
Disciple-makers are not driven by the temporary thrills of this world. To be a disciple-maker is to be someone whose worldview and values have been irreversibly turned upside down from the circumstantial and capricious temporary pursuit of worldly happiness to the eternal depths of Christ’s kingdom everlasting joy. In the beatitudes, Jesus outlines the process that takes believers through God’s upside-down school of personal recalibration. Are we ready to go from the superficial pursuit of happiness to the depths of Jesus’ everlasting joy?
