This message introduces our new series by setting up the historical background of the captivity in light of God’s providential plan. We will be reminded of the fact that, regardless of the harshness of our circumstances, God has a plan an invites us to join him. We have to choose what will determine the message of our personal stories. It can be the narratives of the world or God’s providential plan. The choice is ours but only one leads to true meaning in life.
