Victoria Martinez

Victoria Martinez was born in Grand Prairie, Texas, and raised in an American-Mexican household as a Christian. She grew up as a Christian but declared her faith as her own at the age of 14. Since then, she has grown spiritually to deepen her relationship with Christ and continues to rely on his goodness and strength.

Victoria is a Master’s Student at Dallas Baptist University, majoring in Professional Counseling. She completed her undergraduate degree at DBU in General Psychology. She hopes to become a licensed professional counselor and work in a private practice or other clinical services.

Victoria serves as an intern for the Youth as a small group leader, administrative assistant, and teacher. She has also served in Youth worship, College group worship, Spanish Service worship, and Choir. Her service allows her to exercise her psychological and rapport-building skills, engaging with students’ lives and building the necessary trust for them to open up both spiritually and emotionally. Victoria has engaged in FUEL, Journey Groups, DNOW, Camp, and other youth-related activities.
