Julie Lindsey

Julie Lindsey has served as the children’s ministry director since 2007. After teaching and working with church members of all ages, she discovered her passion is for children.

Her ministry is centered on her belief that every child is a gift from the Lord and no one is too young to learn about Jesus. Her focus is to see that every child feels the love of Jesus in a safe, clean, and fun environment.

Julie also extends her ministry to the parents. She creates a supportive environment, personally mentors young parents, and helps others connect with ministry opportunities in the church as she is often the first church member a family meets when they visit the church.

She cherishes each child and family as much as she does her own. She and her husband, Richard, were high school sweethearts and married a year after graduation. Richard’s career has taken them to several locations through the years, and they were active members of a local Baptist church with each move. They have three daughters, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and the families enjoy a close relationship. All three families serve in churches where they live.
