WELCOME TO THE JOURNEY!

The Youth Ministry is a family of students from different lifestyles who join in fellowship, worship, and service to our community. We exist to mature young leaders who lead by example—actively pursuing Christ, overcoming sinful desires, and contributing to the mission of the Church.

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

DFBC Equip

Fuel on Wednesdays

Our church is involved in a great initiative to help us grow in our walk with the Lord: DFBC Equip. From February 5 to May 14, our weekly meetings on Wednesdays, aka FUEL, will work on a series of studies entitled “Tough Questions”.

How can we believe the Bible is true? Why can’t we just agree that love is love? Isn’t Christianity against diversity? Going to school, hanging out with friends, or scrolling through social media feeds, teenagers are sure to face real challenges to faith in Jesus Christ. Some of these questions can seem like deal breakers. During DFBC Equip, we will invite our students to ask their hardest questions about Christianity and to find, within the Word of God, surprising and life-giving answers.
