“Christians believe that worship is the highest and noblest activity for which man, by the grace of God, is capable.” John Stott There is no greater purpose in life than that for which we were made. God made us in his image and likeness to live lives that would reflect his words and works. Because of sin, we exchanged the glory of God for the false promise of idols (Romans 1). By his grace, however, God invites us to come back to him through worship and restore our lives to right relationship with him. In this sermon series we will explore Jesus’ teaching about worship in the gospels to gain insight into that which God values most.
